We can honestly say that we wouldn't go anywhere else. We have always found the people who look after our small pets whilst we are away to be knowledgeable, caring and accommodating and the opening times are very convenient.

FAQs

No. Its vitally important to us that your rabbits and guinea pigs remain healthy whilst with us. Unfortunately it’s one of the worse things we could do as we can’t disinfect the grass and soil after each animal has been out. This is the easiest way to transmit disease and bacteria between boarding animals. We exercise animals indoors within the centre on vinyl floors that are regularly sanitised.

8ft x 2ft x 2ft are the deluxe for Rabbits or Guinea Pigs however we do offer regular 4ft x 2ft x 2ft for Rabbits and 4ft x 2ft x 1.5ft for Guinea Pigs also

All the required food, we feed Burgess Excel nuggets by choice due to the quality however if you want a particular brand of food please bring sufficient for your reservation. Additionally we provide as much fresh meadow hay as the animals want to eat, occasionally there are treats along with the daily mix of vegetables and the full board and lodgings, water being replenished twice daily as a minimum.

First thing in the morning and towards the end of the afternoon every day. We don’t top up we replace so fresh as can be.

This is very time consuming and not practical within the price. However we are known to send occasional updates.

Before leaving you need to let us know whether you wish to be informed of any concerns or whether we just get on and deal with things leaving you to enjoy your break. If in doubt we always consult our local vets. We do have to pass on any medical costs and expect these to be paid on your return. We don’t wish to tempt fate but it hasn’t happened yet!
